Sandy has been in the public accounting profession since 1971. The other Kenndy is his son Chris, who attained his CPA designation in 1998. While Kennedy & Kennedy provides the services one expects from a CPA firm (including bookkeeping, financial statement and tax preparation), it offers areas of specialization which are generally unavailable from a firm its size. Estate planning, financial planning, business valuations (in divorce situations, estate planning and for estate tax purposes), and IRS representation are among these. The diverse experience and training of Kennedy & Kennedy's professional team, as well as the changing needs of our clients demand our ongoing commitment to the development and refinement of technologically proficient systems and tools for successful business management. What all of the firm's business clients have in common is that they are closely-held businesses, owned eiuther by a family or one or two unrelated parties. The problems they have are similar (continuity of ownership, financial managemant, tax minimization, computerization), even though the industries they are part of differ. Our clients range in size from start-ups to over $50,000,000 in annual sales. Industries run the gamut from wholesale produce to plumbing supplies; from building supplies/hardware to manufacturing; from consumer retail and restaurats (fast food and full-service) to the softer side of services - real estate brokerages and management companies, insurance agencies, mail presorters, software developers, etc. Kennedy & Kennedy prepares a significant number of personal income tax returns and takes great pride in assisiting our clients in setting and meeting individual, family and in perpetuity financial goals. We are members of the followng organizations: American Institute of CPAs (Federal Tax Division, Personal Financial Planning Division), Massachusetts Society of CPAs, Community Associations Institute.
